Beeb moves to Wales production facility

LONDON -- The BBC has moved into its purpose-built drama production center in Cardiff, Wales. The 170,000 sq.-foot. galleries, known as Roath Lock, is going to be the place to find hospital sudser "Casualty," sci-fi adventure series "Physician Who" and period drama skein "Upstairs Downstairs." The studio, taken care of through the government of Wales and also the city government, plus developer Igloo, was built included in the BBC's 2008 resolve for double TV network production in Wales.
