Is it a rare skill to be able to play funk (pop and slap) Bass? Like Zender or Bootsy Collins?

I have recently been learning funk bass and I picked it up quite
quickly. Yesterday I was playing funk bass in my bedroom (Virtual
Insanity by Jamiroquai) and this window cleaner started dancing lol he
said he really liked my bass playing. I have only ever met 4 people my
age who can pop and slap so I think it is a rare skill. But prove me
wrong if you think differently
